100 g of sugar

200 ml of liquid cream

40 g of butter

2 tbsp of peanut butter

1 pinch salt

Chef's tip

This sauce pairs wonderfully with vanilla, chocolate, or banana ice cream. It adds a delicious, slightly salty touch reminiscent of Snickers or roasted peanut caramel.

RECIPE STEPS
1Melt the sugar dry in a saucepan, over medium heat, without stirring.
  • 100 g of sugar
2Once the caramel is golden, remove from heat and add the butter. Mix vigorously.
  • 40 g of butter
3Gradually incorporate the liquid cream, stirring constantly, then put it back on low heat to smooth the sauce.
  • 200 ml of liquid cream
4Add the peanut butter and salt and mix until you get a homogeneous texture.
  • 2 tbsp of peanut butter
  • 1 pinch salt
5Let it cool down before pouring it on your ice cream.
