370 g plain flour
1 tbsp of baking powder
1 pinch salt
1 vanilla pod
300 g of butter
40 g of cocoa powder
70 ml of milk
5 eggs
250 g of sugar
50 g of dark chocolate

RECIPE STEPS
1Heat oven to 180°C.
Grease tin.
2Roughly chop the butter and put it into the metal bowl. Run the program to soften the butter.

3Add 40ml milk, the vanilla pod (split in two and scraped) and the other ingredients.
Run the program.

4Put half the mixture into tin and leave other half in bowl.
5Add 30ml milk and the cocoa powder into the metal bowl and run the program.

6Pour the chocolate cake mixture on top of cake mixture already in tin and swirl with a fork to create a marble effect.
7Cook cake for 50 minutes at 180°C.
8Before removing cake from oven, insert a skewer into centre. The cake is cooked when the skewer comes out clean.
Turn out onto a cooking rack and leave to cool.
9Clean the metal bowl and then melt the chocolate in it by running the program.
- 50 g of dark chocolate

10Spread the icing on cake.
The cake is ready to eat as soon as icing has hardened.
