600 ml semi-skimmed milk

100 g caster sugar

5 tbsp semi skimmed milk powder

1 vanilla pod (split in half and seeds scraped out)

RECIPE STEPS
1Heat the milk and the vanilla pod in a saucepan over low heat.
  • 600 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 1 vanilla pod (split in half and seeds scraped out)
2Add the sugar and sprinkle the powdered milk on top.
  • 100 g caster sugar
  • 5 tbsp semi skimmed milk powder
3Stir until the sugar and powdered milk have fully dissolved. Be careful not to boil the mixture. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
4Leave to chill for a few hours.
5Freeze-churn for 20‑30 minutes in Le Glacier / Gelato Expert.
