200 g of plain flour

75 ml of crème fraîche

1 pinch of salt

1 sachet of baking powder (11 g)

30 g of butter

2 tbsp of icing sugar

1 handful of almonds

RECIPE STEPS
1Preheat your oven to 180 °C. Cut the apples into slices.

2In the metal bowl, place the eggs with the sugar and run the program.

3Add the flour, cream, a pinch of salt and the baking powder. Restart the program.

4Butter the cocotte generously. Delicately place the reconstituted apples at an equal distance. Pour the batter between the apples then on top.

5Cover the cocotte and bake for 45 minutes, without lifting the lid. Be careful not to leave the pot holders on the cocotte.
6Sprinkle with icing sugar and flaked almonds. Let cool before unmolding.

This cake makes a lovely dessert to serve with cream. The second time I made it I used 300gms of a Jackfruit Strudel mix I had made and 300gms fresh Jackfruit. I served it with thickened cream and a Raspberry Coulis. It was truly delicious.
