Use this homemade whipped cream to top a banana split: vanilla ice cream, chocolate, strawberry, sliced banana, coulis, hazelnut pieces... and a generous rosette of whipped cream to top it all off!
RECIPE STEPS
1Place your Magimix Micro mini-chopper bowl in the refrigerator for 10 minutes before use (bowl and emulsifier) for optimal results.
2Pour the very cold cream into the bowl.
Add the icing sugar and vanilla if desired.
- 200 ml of liquid cream
- 2 tbsp of icing sugar
- 0.5 tsp of vanilla extract
3Blend in pulses of 3 to 5 seconds at the start, then hold the Pulse button for about 30 seconds, closely monitoring the texture.
4Stop as soon as the cream becomes airy and sticks well to the whisk (be careful not to go as far as butter!).
5Serve immediately for a light texture, or keep it cool until it's time to plate up.
