
Whey, orange & poppy cake

1 orange
2 beaten eggs
70 g of light brown sugar
70 g of melted butter
100 g of plain flour
80 g whey protein powder or milk powder
1 sachet of baking powder
1 tbsp of poppy seeds

RECIPE STEPS
1Preheat your oven to 180°C.
Place the poppy seeds in the freezer for a few minutes to prevent them from falling to the bottom of the mould during cooking.

2Zest the orange and place to one side.
Place the juicer on the jug and squeeze out the orange juice.

3Place the eggs, orange juice, light brown sugar, melted butter, flour, whey protein or milk powder, yeast and poppy seeds in the glass jug and start the programme.

4Pour the mixture into a cake mould (or cupcake moulds) and bake for 40 minutes.
