1 sachet of dried yeast (5 g)

120 ml of milk

300 g of plain flour

30 g of soft butter

1 egg

50 g of sugar

1 pinch of salt

RECIPE STEPS
1Add the yeast into the warm milk and stir with a fork until fully dissolved. Leave to rest for 10 minutes.

2Add the flour, diced butter, egg, sugar, salt and the dissolved yeast into the bowl fitted with the dough blade. Switch on the machine and run for 30 seconds until the dough forms a ball.

3Transfer the dough to a large bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Leave to rise for 1 hour near a heat source and away from drafts.
4Melt the brown sugar, cinnamon and salted butter in a saucepan over a low heat. Set aside.

5Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cover the work surface with baking paper and lightly flour. Roll our the dough into a rectangle about 15 cm x 30 cm and 1/2 cm thick. Spread the cinnamon mixture over the entire surface of the dough.
6Roll the dough lengthwise and cut into pieces about 2 cm thick. Cover a baking tray with baking paper and transfer the pieces of dough (placing them flat) onto it. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
7Mix the icing sugar with 10ml of water in a bowl. Pour the mixture into a piping bag with a very fine opening and drizzle over the cinnamon rolls (once they have cooled).
