6 egg yolks
180 ml of maple syrup
1 tsp of cornflour
250 ml of full-cream milk
500 ml of thick cream
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt

RECIPE STEPS
1Whisk the egg yolks, maple syrup, cornflour and salt in a saucepan until combined.
- 6 egg yolks
- 180 ml of maple syrup
- 1 tsp of cornflour
- 1 pinch of salt
2Add in milk over medium high heat, whisking constantly until the mixture begins to thicken, but doesn’t boil.
- 250 ml of full-cream milk
3When the mixture thickens, remove from heat and whisk in the cream & vanilla extract.
- 500 ml of thick cream
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
4Strain if required and chill the mixture in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
5Add ice cream to the Gelato Expert and select the ICE CREAM function. The ice cream is ready when the light begins the flash.
6Serve and enjoy!

Could you please add the instructions here to make the custard in the Cook Expert ? that would be helpful.
Thought this ice cream would have been very sweet, it was not it was perfect and will certainly make it again. I did add some walnuts.
