Here's another recipe to add to your Christmas hamper; Spiced Chutney. Great with cheese and a glass of mulled wine, the Cook Expert makes light work of this chutney.

Step by step recipe below…
Ingredients:
1 apple (cored and quartered)
1 small onion
2 garlic cloves
150g dried figs
50g dried cranberries
100g sultanas
50g mixed peel
1tbsp cinnamon
1tbsp mixed spice
½ tsp ground ginger
Large pinch of salt
Freshly ground black pepper
200ml malt vinegar
190g sugar
Method:
1. Place the apple, onion, garlic, figs, cranberries and sultanas into the metal bowl. Run EXPERT 30 seconds/speed 12/0°C
2. Add the rest of the ingredients.
3. Run EXPERT 25 minutes/speed 3/105°C.
4. Pour your chutney into sterilised jars and make sure to label them.
